Construction & Materials
Every Dropzone Pit — same spec, every build
Exterior Casing
UV-resistant vinyl, built to survive outdoors. Resists cracking and UV degradation season after season. Not polyester. Vinyl.
Foam Core
High-density polyurethane foam with cross-section construction that allows air displacement on landing and prevents compression set over time. Not single-block solid foam.
Top Landing Pad
A 2" reversible foam top pad takes the spike and impact abuse so the core foam is protected, and reverses to even out wear. Included on every pit, and counted in the overall height we quote.
Stitching
Double-stitched seams throughout using UV-protected sun guard thread. Every seam is folded before stitching for reinforcement.
Zippers
Marine-grade nylon zippers — the same hardware used on lifejackets — that won't corrode in outdoor conditions. Warranted for the life of the pit.
Modular Velcro Security
Velcro security locks all base sections together as an integrated unit. No gaps between sections during landing.
